I'm Baylee. I'd like to say this blog has a specific theme but, my interests are so all over the place that it couldn't be possible. Ever.

Day 6- Warsaw, Poland

Day 6- Warsaw, Poland

Monday, 6/13/11

-Woke up with a bloody nose. That is, of course, my ideal way to start my mornings. As soon as I landed in Europe I had the worst allergies. But that wasn’t going to slow me down…helllll no.

So, We started off by going to a Jewish Museum and watched a short film of the Jewish ghettos. It contained Nazi footage. Then we took a tour of the Jewish Ghetto.

After the tour, my bloody nose returned. Faaaaabulous!

I bought some Milka. In case you don’t know, Milka is the greatest chocolate bar ever, and I’m not even a big chocolate fan. Mmmmmm.

After all of that, we had some free time in the Old Town Square.

There, I bought a white amber ring. Apparently Poland in known for their amber. Us girls had dinner and drinks at an outside restaurant in the Old Town Square.

After dinner we went and got some bomb twist ice creams.

Back at the hotel, we watched a speech from a Holocaust survivor, Inga, who actually joined us for the entirety of our tour.

Some of us girls ended up having a late night run to McDonald’s. They had a walk-up drive through, since it was in the city, which was great. Boston should try that out. While there, a couple of guys came over to talk with us. They immediately asked if we went to MIT. That was strange. Why they would assume we went to MIT, I’m not really sure. But I was sure to tell them that we went to BSU, which is way better. ;] (Nahhhht.)

Can I just say that Poland is absolutely beautiful? Because it is.
