Day 7- Krakow, Poland

Tuesday 6/14/11

-We took a six hour bus ride from Warsaw to Krakow. On the way, we stopped somewhere along the countryside and had lunch. It was extremely hard to understand the menu and the employees just laughed at us so a couple of us ordered “frytkis” (french fries). We literally just ate a bowl of french fries. Which, I, of course, was totally fine with. But, I could have had ten of those french fry bowls. And, they charged extra for the ketchup! #HowRude.

After that, we took a walking tour of Glowny Square and the Wawel Hill Castle. Turns out Krakow is another beautiful city.

We had dinner at the hotel then a few of us went back to the castle area to see the fire-breathing dragon statue.  We were all waiting around for the dragon to breathe fire and it wouldn’t. So, the second me and Maria went and stood under it for a picture, it breathed fire and scared the shit out of us. Haha.
